"She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future." Age 55, passed away peacefully, on April 4th, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Lisa left an unforgettable impression on everyone around her. We believe that if you had the chance to know her, you were incredibly lucky. She spent a lot of her time tending to her beautiful flowers and always put everyone elses needs before her own. She is survived by her loving husband, Matt, four children, Melissa (Ben), Mallory, Matthew and Madison, Mother in-law Anne David, siblings Farah (David), Phyllis (John), Marge (Jeff), Claudia (Toney), Lynnie, Ron (Deb), Don (Esther), Wayne, Jim (Linda), Doug (Rosella), Cindy (John), Paul (Helen), Mark and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandson Ethan Scott Boucher, Mother Emellee Rutherford, Father James Rutherford and Father in-law Albert David.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 10th at 2:00 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E. Wesley Street, Jackson, Michigan with Father Tim Nelson officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary at 6 PM. The family will also receive friends at St. Mary's Church on Thursday from 1:30 to 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and Ell Dwe Koda Animal Sanctuary.
