Linda Lou Folkler (Zenz)

Linda Lou Folker, with her daughter Julie by her side, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025.

Linda was born on July 25, 1943, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Dottie Zenz.  Linda dedicated her life to her daughter, Julie, and was a caretaker for many years to Ian and Erin Liskiewicz, whom she loved very much.  Her grandchildren, Matthew and Kaylee, were her pride and joy.  Linda will be remembered for her generous heart and deep love for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, husband, Phillip R. Folkler, her sisters Patricia Ebersol and Shelby Graetz, and brother Duane Zenz.

Surviving is her daughter, Julie Hotchkiss (Ken), her two grandchildren, Matthew Hotchkiss and Kaylee Hotchkiss, three great-grandchildren Tristen, Hudson and Harlow Hotchkiss,  loving sister, Barbara Zenz, and special Sister-In-Law Carol McIntyre, as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Linda's request, cremation has taken place, and no formal funeral is planned.

The family would like to thank Cascade Senior Center staff for their excellent care.  A special thank you to Nikki, Dana, Casey and Brenda.  Your kindness and support through some very difficult times is very much appreciated and did not go unnoticed.  Thank you so much.
