Linda Frances Fiero was born into eternal life on Sunday, March 5, 2023, surrounded by her family at Henry Ford Allegiance Health after a sudden illness. She was born March 18, 1957, to Bill and Joan Muterspaugh who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother Steve.
Linda was a devoted Christian who relied on the Lord throughout her life and with her many health challenges. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who meant the world to her. She enjoyed a wide variety of interests including watching sports including her favorite, the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Pistons; HGTV, Food Network, and the Today Show. She was a caretaker and compassionate owner to many pets throughout her life who in turn provided Linda with love and comfort. Linda was a longtime member and leader of Celebrate Recovery where she met and maintained many longtime friendships. She was a voracious reader and lover of books.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Sean (Crystal) and Chris (Honey); stepson, Scott; grandchildren, Alaynah, Aiden and Ava, Aldrich, Zeus, and Aries. She is also survived by her siblings, Mike (Vicki), Rick (Marlinda), Jerry, Karen (Carry) McCann, and Julie (Kevin) Yeager; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was a 1975 graduate of Lumen Christi High School. She continued her education by obtaining independent courses of study. Linda was an employee of Foote Hospital, Anesthesia Billing Consultants, and Great Lakes Home Health and Hospice. She was a hard-working employee who always went the extra mile.
Linda will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
The family would like to thank Kathy Fiero for all of the love and care she gave to Linda, along with the staff of Henry Ford ER and MICU for their outstanding care and compassion.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 711 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Jackson, with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. The family will host a luncheon at Forty Nine South (2527 Helena Ave, Jackson, MI 49203 ) immediately following the Mass.
The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, March 10 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cascades Humane Society (https://chspets.org) or The Arbor Celebrate Recovery 120 E Main St. Spring Arbor, MI 49283.
