Johns, Lillian E.

Passed away at the home of her daughter under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the age of 93.

Lillian was born June 12, 1922 in Jeleniawo, Poland. Daughter of Stanislaw and Stefania Bobrowski. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Stanley, Frank, John, and Joseph Bobrowski; sisters, Mary Lapinski, Cecelia Mitchell, and Josephine Melford. Also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis L. Johns; infant daughter, Doreen and son, Richard J. Johns. Survived by her son, Dennis J. (Kathleen) Johns; daughters, Diane (Edward) Schweda, Connie (Travis) Turner, and Cindy (Dan) Storm; daughter-in-law, Martha (Rick) Johns; 12 grandchildren, Edward, Joseph, and Andrew Schweda, M. Katherine Mietelka, Julie Tosh, Dawn Reichard, Doreen Warner, Daniel Reichard, Steven and Ray Storm, Joshua and Katrina Johns; 23 great grandchildren and one expected in June; and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Mrs. Johns is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 12:00 Noon followed by the Mass of the Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, March 11 from 4-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.
