Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 after a brief illness at the age of 82 years. Survived by his five children, Cathy Swistak, Mike (Cindy) Swistak, Sharon (Carl) Werner, John Swistak, and Stacy (Michele Fero) Swistak; grandchildren, Charlie (Jennifer) Sears, Molly Sears, Aimee (Andy) Mahony, Lynne and Emily Werner, and Koly and Michael Swistak; special friend Deanie Chapman and her family. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Swistak.

Lenny was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and Michigan State University. He was an United States Army Veteran. He was a former employee of Aeroquip and Kelsey-Hayes and a longtime employee of the Jackson Harness Raceway. Lenny was an avid Spartan Fan and a devote Catholic. His faith and family were everything to him.

Mr. Swistak is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the St. Louis Center, Chelsea would be appreciated.
