Zdanowitz, Leon
of Pleasant Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marcella; two sons, Dennis (Mary) Zdanowitz and Rick (Terri) Zdanowitz; six grandchildren, Rob (Trudy), Don, Brandy (Todd), Cody, Brittany, and Mackenzie; two great grandsons, Caleb and Carson; one brother, Lawrence (Pauline) Zdanowitz; one sister, Lorraine Cook; sister-in-law, Norma (Dale) Moss. Leon was retired from Walker Manufacturing and Teer-Wickwire. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and the outdoors.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Randall Miller will be officiating.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Dahlem Environmental Center, 7117 S. Jackson Rd., Jackson, MI, 49201.
