Lammers, Leo A. III

Of Jackson, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the age of 68 years.  He is survived by his two children, Lisa (Andy) DuBois and Andy (Angie) Lammers; grandchildren, Christopher (Cassie) Lammers, Matthew DuBois, Abby Lammers, and Ariel DuBois; in-laws, Kathy (Tom) Gustafson, Barb (Tom) Will, Mary Castle, Patty (Marty) Sussort, Rick Wernet, Karen (Todd) Powers, Jim Desy, Harold Pickell, and Jim Pickett; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Dorothy M. Lammers; grandson, Logan DuBois; and sisters, Sharon Pickett, Joyce Pickell and Kathy Desy.

Leo enjoyed fishing, softball, and bowling which was his favorite.  He had a great sense of humor which everyone appreciated and he treated everyone like family.  He was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Leo was the previous owner of Lammers Auto Wash and was currently employed by HRS Transport Inc.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Chas Canoy officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, September 12 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

In lieu of sending flowers, contributions to St. John Catholic School would be appreciated.
