Leo was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Kostka, St. Joseph and St. John Churches. He was devoted to his faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a friend to all. Leo served 2 tours of duty with pride in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Allegiance Hospice Home is an underappreciated gem in our community. It is hard to understand how communities elsewhere have not embraced this care, support and love which we found at the Hospice Home. The opportunity for a sick loved one to live their final months, days, hours with dignity and respect is something unique and everyone should know about it. People who serve the Hospice Home are gems, just like our Leo.

Mr. Konkol is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Shaver officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Allegiance Hospice Home or St. John's Church would be appreciated.
