McKellar, Lawrence "Larry" G.

of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Marianne; two sons, Patrick (Annette) Dochstader and Thomas Dochstader; three brothers, Ronald McKellar, Stanley McKellar, and Mike (Ann) Maske; six sisters, Norma McKellar, Dorathea Galantay, Kathi Cagney, Chris (Roger) Fors, Terri (James) Sharpe, and Mary Noble; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Murphy and James Hammel; three sisters-in-law, Carole Folks, Shirley McKellar, and Jane Maske; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Ray McKellar, Larry Maske, and Gary Maske and two sisters, Doris Hammel and Elizabeth Nachbar.

Larry played in and traveled with the band "Cash McCall and the Green Backs" throughout the USA and Canada. He worked and retired from Henry Ford Allegiance Health (W.A. Foote) Hospital after many years of service. Larry was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

According to his wishes, Larry has been cremated.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 10:00 AM at St. Mary Stare of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
