Traill, (Dalton) Laura Jane

Aged 75 of Spring Arbor Township passed away in the early morning hours of June 14th 2014 following a long bout of medical complications and hospital visits.

She was born Oct 12 1938 to Donald and Marguerite Dalton of Lansing Mi.
Mom has 1 sister, Carol Ann Shipley (Jerry) of Howell, Mi. Mom married Gerald (Jerry) Traill on Sept 1 1963 the love of her life before his passing in 2004.

Laura had 3 sons and 4 little hellions. Jeffery Traill of Los Angeles Ca. , James Traill (Patty O'Rourke) of Portage Mi. and John Traill of Horton, Mi. The 4 little hellions are her CATS Sagwa, Stewie, Skezik,and lastly Meiko. Mom had 2 granddaughters, Ryann Traill of Jackson, Mi. and Ashley O'Rourke of Portage Mi. Mom had many passions in her life including her friends and family, her flowers (Master Gardener)and the love of nature, Good books and her CATS.
Laura also had many talents that she enjoyed over the years such as painting pictures, cooking, canning, quilting , flower arranging and the talent to attract any darn CAT that would walk her way LOL. "What is that a kitten walking up the back drive" That was one of her favorite things, Think most were planted by her.

Mom will always be remembered for her off the wall sayings that would always make you want to chuckle. A very special THANK YOU to the many doctors, nurses and caregivers at Allegiance health. CareLink, Heartland and Fresenius Dialysis center and everybody else that has helped her in her final days on earth. Laura attended St. Catherine Laboure Church in Concord for many many years and so per Mom's wishes she is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church at 211 Harmon Ave. Concord Mi 49237 on June 21 2014.

The Family will receive friends and family at the church on June 21st 2014 from 9 am to 11 am before the 11:00 Mass with a luncheon afterwards in the church's hall.

Please dress casual as Mom loved her jeans and T's. Also per mom's request her ashes and her loving husband Jerry's ashes will be buried in a single grave in Horton, Mi. where they can spend eternity with each other and her CATS.

The Family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jackson Catholic Charities linen closet where mother volunteered for many years or to the Cascades Humane Society on Carmen Drive in Jackson for the animals in Laura's name. R.I.P.
