Linden, Laura Lea
Age 51, passed into eternal life on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was born in Tecumseh, Michigan on September 12, 1969 and graduated from Onsted High School in 1988. She went to college later and completed her associate degree in computer programming in 2017. She loved to serve people in her work as customer service representative. Serving others was very important to her and she did it often without counting the cost to herself. She also "exceptionally" enjoyed Michigan football and the Detroit Lions. Laura was loved deeply by her family and loved them deeply as well. Even though the family is pained at her loss, they prayerfully entrust her without reserve into the loving hands of Jesus.
She is survived by her three children, Dominique Linden, Ashley White (Drew), and Spencer Linden. She leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Brayden, Athena, and Egypt. Also survived by both of her parents, Rosemary Buku and Donald (Mary) Linden; three brothers, Don Linden, Rev. John Linden, and Dan Linden; sister, Angela (Rick) Garbrecht; step-siblings, Mike (Kathy) Warner and Alisha (Don) Twork; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Reverend John Linden and Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass and Laura's cremains will be interred at St. Joseph Shrine in Irish Hills, Michigan at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to her son and grandchildren's education fund would be appreciated.
