Finley, Laura (Crowley)

of Jackson passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Preceded in death by George C. Crowley in 1965 after 27 years of marriage and married Wallace "Bud" Finley in 1972 and he passed away in 1997, four months shy of 25 years of marriage. She is survived by one daughter, Mona (Robert) Gitthens of Cocoa Beach, Florida; one granddaughter, Karen (Craig) Guerin; two great grandchildren, Brianne and Bryon Guerin; five step children, Gary (Dee) Finley of Rives Junction, Joanne (Dick) Fullerton of Dublin, Ohio, Jerry Finley of Jackson, Larry (Vicki) Finley of Jackson, and Dennis Finley of Phoenix, Arizona. Also survived by numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Laura retired after 23 years of service as a supervisor of the Children's Department with the Jacobson's stores. She was a charter member of the C.T.C., an avid bowler, golfer, and card player. Laura volunteered at Allegiance Health Care at the front desk and Gift Shop. She followed her great grandchildren's sporting events in both High School and College. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 10 to 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laura's name may be made to St. John's Elementary School.
