Hensrud, Lane Thomas Sr.

Of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of his family, Henry Ford Hospice , and the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 72 years.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosemary; four children, Lane Jr., Frank, Eric, and Scott; grandchildren, Jordyn, Izabel, Madalyn, and Isaiah; two great-grandchildren, Jasper and Eleanor; sister, Wanda Heins; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Vic; niece, Brenda Perry; brother-in-law Bob Heins; and sister-in-law, Jean Ann Korc.

Lane was a Veteran of the United States Army.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Chas Canoy officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday, September 17 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

In lieu of sending flowers, contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church would be appreciated.
