Kristine Kay Boyd

Of Hanover, formerly of Eaton Rapids, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the age of 63 in Lansing. Kristine was born on June, 9, 1954, the daughter of Theodore and Darlene Bristol of Eaton Rapids. She is survived by her husband, Otto Boyd; seven children, Barbara (Shane) Bishop, Patti (Gary) Martin, Angel Johnson, Buddy Johnson, Tommy (Amanda) Boyd, Billy (Vickie) Johnson, and Jeffrey (Angela) Boyd; 32 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Theodore Alan Bristol. Preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Darlene Bristol; son, Timothy Alan Johnson; and grandson, Joshua Curtis.

Kristine and Otto loved spending time with their family. She loved fishing and going on vacation in her younger years. She also loved her gardens that she planted in the front of their house and it was absolutely beautiful. Kristine was a good Christian woman. She volunteered at the Jackson Seventh-Day Adventist Community Center for years with her mother. Kristine was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who loved her family very much and she will be missed by all who remember her.

Funeral Services will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 Blackstone Street, Jackson, on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Interment at Pulaski Township Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jackson Seventh- Day Adventist Church or to the COPD Foundation.

The family requests that anyone attending the funeral wear Kristine's favorite color, yellow, in remembrance of her.
