Kristina Marie Erven-Brannick

It is with great sadness that the family of Kristina Marie Erven-Brannick announce her passing on Friday December 19th, 2025 at the age of 64 years old.

Kristina enjoyed spending time outdoors walking trails and enjoying nature, listening to music, and being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who especially cherished cooking and sharing meals with those she loved. Her family will always remember her Sunday meals and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Kristina was a dedicated Registered Nurse and earned her BSN in 2001. As a home care nurse, she brought compassion, steadiness, and comfort directly into the homes of those she cared for. After that, she was a loving stay at home mother for many years. Her commitment to caring for others was evident throughout her career and her personal life.

Kristina will be missed by her father, William Erven; her husband, Brian Brannick; her children, Step-Daughter Kelli Brannick, Son Alex (Ashley) Brannick, and Daughter Amber Brannick; her granddaughters, Genevieve, Violette, and Josephine; her sister, Anne (Don Aldridge) Erven; Aunt Mary Depew; her dog, Cupcake; and all of her nieces, Nephews, friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Erven, and her brother, Todd Erven.

According to her wishes, Kristina has been cremated and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date at Desnoyer Funeral Home, with her long time friend, Karen Austin, officiating. She also wished for a special thank you to go out to Dr. Granowicz and the Henry Ford Oncology team for everything they did as far as treatments.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Cancer Research or St. Jude Cancer Research are appreciated.

Her love, strength, and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
