Kevin K. Roberts

Kevin K. Roberts of Jackson passed away at home as he wished, on August 12, 2026, at the age of 70 years.

He is survived by his four sisters: Beverly Dice, Barbara Roberts, Marsha Roberts, and Cindy (Kent) Slete; two nephews, Bruce (Cheryl) Roberts, Dale (Tina) Roberts; two nieces, Heidi Roberts and Leslie (Mike) Czubko; numerous great nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Jan Miller; his beloved dog, Cricket; and cat, Precious. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Anna Roberts; brother Owen; and wife, Lorie.

Kevin was born in Jackson, and graduated from Western High School in 1974. He started working as a teenager in construction and drywall and continued for over 50 years. Kevin loved hunting, fishing, camping, karaoke back in the day, and spending time with friends. He had a joking and teasing spirit, which was especially apparent with his sisters in his younger years and in the many comical signs posted around his home. He was a caregiver to his sisters until he couldn’t and helped and cared for many neighbor friends.

Thank you to all staff that cared for Kevin from Cornerstone Caregiving Home Health Care in Spring Arbor, Thome PACE of Jackson, and special neighbor friend, Paul. Your care helped make this difficult time easier and you are angels here on earth.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the Desnoyer Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Reverend David Kamke officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 3 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. 

A private inurnment will be held on a later date at Chapel Cemetary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Thome PACE of Jackson or the Cascades Humane Society.
