Kenneth "Ike" Hoch

Kenny passed away peacefully at his home under the loving care of his family and the staff at Grace Hospice on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 97 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rose. Kenny was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army. He retired from the railroad after 40+ plus of service. Kenny enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family most of all. He is survived by daughters, Julie Hamel and her daughters, Nicole (Chris) Scarborough and Erin Hamel; Patricia (Patric) McAuliffe and their sons, Jeremy (Lynn) Russ, Michael (Nicole) McAuliffe, and Benjamin McAuliffe; and Janice Cook and her daughter, Dana Cook. He also is survived by six great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Gertrude Mason.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Fr. James Shaver officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery chapel on Friday from 12:30-1:00 PM.

Special thanks to the Department of Aging and his worker Chris and Grace Hospice and his care worker, Angela and nurses CeCe and Megan. Our dad was a kind, gentle person and anyone who met him liked him. He will be sadly missed.
