Passed away on July 19, 2014, just shy of his 90th birthday. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lydia; their sons, Theodore (Jo Ann), James (Connie), and Adam; Grandchildren Emily King (James), Alyssa, Derek, Jay, and Samuel; and Great Grandchildren Melissa, Robin, Jason, Jamie, and Griffin. He was preceded in death by two sons, Nicholas and Patrick.

Ken was born in St. Charles, Missouri in 1924. He served his country honorably in Europe during World War II. He returned home to marry his sweetheart, Lydia, who he was with until his passing. After the service, he worked for the railroad for a few years, crisscrossing the Midwest with his young family. He then worked for various telephone companies in Michigan, advancing from lineman to executive. Eventually, he ended up in Jackson, where he retired and lived happily for the past 35 years. Ken was a kind, hard-working man who always wanted and provided the best for his family. He loved to golf, bowl, camp, play cards, and follow the Tigers and Lions. He requested no funeral service.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Allegiance Hospital and Vista Grande Villa for their professionalism and compassion.
