Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at Trellis Gardens Sunday, October 17, 2010 age 80 years. Survived by eight children; Kathleen Kelly, Maureen Kelly, Sheila (Gordie) Wick, Bridget Kelly, Mary Kathryn Kelly (Frank Thrush), Meghan (Patrick) Haley, Patrick Kelly and Brendan Kelly. Close family friends Lisa Rone, Marc Siegel and Joylynn Kelly. Seven grandchildren; Jamie, Caille and Kelsey Wick, Bridget Ann and Mary Kate Haley, James Watson and Harper Claire Kelly. Sisters-in-law; Sheelah Kelly and Julie Crowley. Preceded in death by her husband Mark W. Kelly, son Francis X. "Mickey" Kelly, brother Gerald Neubecker and four sisters; Helen Hollinrake, Margaret Brogan, Louise Blackman and Frances Barlow. Kat was a longtime devoted member of Queen's Parish, loving wife and mother and was a notorious card shark. She was a proud employee of St. Vincent dePaul Thrift Store. Mrs. Kelly is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a brief Prayer Service will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Mathias Thelan officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Vincent dePaul Society would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Tuesday 6 PM.
