Kathryn C. Baird

BAIRD, KATHRYN C.
of Jackson, Michigan began her eternal walk with the Lord on July 29, 2011 under the care of Jackson Hospice Home. She was born on August 16, 1921 to her beloved parents Julius V. and Elsie M. Carlson who have also joined their Lord along with her siblings, Raymond Carlson, Beulah Nelson, William Carlson, John Carlson and Arthur Carlson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin Baird. Kathryn is survived by her loving sister Virginia Olmstead. She is also survived by her four children J. Raymond Pastor, Patricia M. Wheeler (Kendall), James A. Pastor (Patricia) and David C. Pastor (Sue), who all cherished their mother. Also surviving Kathryn are 11 grand children and 19 great grand children and a host of special cousins, nieces and nephews including her special care givers, Kathe and Dave Meade (grandchildren). Kathryn graduated from the Bellevue High School and after a long career, retired from Consumers Energy. She enjoyed her family, her flower gardens, music and reading her bible.

Visitation will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home located at 204 N. Blackstone St., Jackson, Michigan from 5pm until 8pm on Monday, August 1st and the funeral services will be held in Battle Creek, on Tuesday August 2nd at 10:30am at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 1625 Capital Ave NE., officiated by Rev. John Larkin of Jackson. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Bellevue Michigan.
