Kathleen M. Uebrick

of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 66.

Kathy was born on June 17, 1948 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. She graduated from South Lake High School in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan in 1966. Kathy married Thomas Uebrick in 1973. Kathy, Tom and their sons moved to Jackson in 1987.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Claretta Nicolai of Mt. Clemens, MI and her in-laws, Theodore and Elizabeth Uebrick. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Uebrick; son, Thomas Jr. (Candice) Uebrick; granddaughter Lilian; sister, Penelope (John) Bavin; brother, Dean (Stephanie) Nicolai; sister-in-law, Nanci Marsh; brother-in-law, Doug (Betty) Marsh; nephews, Russell (Becky) Marsh, Greg (Beth) Marsh and James Marsh; nieces, Elizabeth (Steven) Nazaruk and Kathryn (Garrett) Richards; great nephew, John Marsh; great nieces, Elizabeth Marsh, Ruby Richards and Emersyn Richards.

Kathy worked for several years in the Northwest Community Schools-Flora List Daycare Center. Her life was her family. She was a devoted homemaker, loved to cook, read and watch old movies and I Love Lucy reruns. Kathy was known to all for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor.

The family would like to thank Kathy's friends at Rives Quality Meats and the staff at Heartland Health Care of Jackson.

Cremation has taken place in accordance with Kathy's wishes. A celebration of Kathy's life will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 N. Blackstone St., Jackson, MI.
