BISHOP, JUNE ELAYNE

Of Jackson, happily went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 29, 2010 under the loving care of her family, Hospice of Hillsdale County and the staff at Drews Place Village Green Assisted Living in Hillsdale, age 85
years. "For by grace you are saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of the Lord God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them."
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, whom she dearly loved,
Julian Richard Bishop. Survived by two daughters, Susan (Thomas) Bartol of Jonesville and Patricia (Charles) Wiltshire of Palm Bay, FL; five grandchildren, Thomas C. (Amy) Bartol, Brian L. (Sherry) Bartol, Benjamin P. (Jessica) Bartol, Kristy Wiltshire and Andrew Wiltshire. Four great grandchildren, Max, Jack, Jacob and Shaylin and a great granddaughter on the way. June was an accomplished artist, enjoyed giving, but the most important things in her life was her faith and family. Mrs. Bishop is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home. Services will be held at the South Jackson Community Church Tuesday at 1:00 PM with burial in the South Jackson Cemetery. Dr. Charles Dillman officiating.

Contributions to Hospice of Hillsdale County would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 7 PM and at the South Jackson Community Church on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.
