Hankerd (Weed), Julie M.
Of Pleasant Lake, passed away at Michigan Medicine on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the age of 58 years. She is survived by her husband, Mike Hankerd; daughter, Jessica (Dave) Kestner; 5 grandchildren, Carter, Maddi, Hadley, Jack, and Maisie; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Preceded in death by her son, David J. Ogle III; parents, Bob and Mary Weed; and one sister.
Julie worked at Alro Steel for many years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
According to her wishes, Julie has been cremated. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
