Bertram (Klima), Julie Ann
Of Jackson passed away early morning on Friday, March 24, 2023, with family by her side, at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her husband, Leslie "Butch" Bertram; children, Samuel Bertram and Zachary Bertram; step daughter, Amber Bertram; siblings, Kathy (Tom) Rumler, Susan (Bob) Ellis, Shelley (Randy) Martin, Steven (Karen) Klima; 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John W. And Valerie Ann (Ward) Klima. Julie was born on Sunday, May 18th, 1958. She was a 1977 graduate of Jackson High School and worked at City Bank – Micor Branch for many years. She played on a bowling league at Summit Lanes and also loved playing softball at Cooperstown. Julie couldn't start her day unless she had her morning coffee. She loved to cook and bake, as that was her love language. She ran her own bakery, ultimately famous for her cheesecakes. Julie loved the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines. She watched every single Tigers game and every Michigan football game from start to finish. She also loved her lifetime movie shows and could beat anyone in a game of poker. Julie was a big fan of classic rock; enjoyed the music of Queen, but Eric Clapton was her favorite. Julie loved watching the gentle snows of a Michigan winter and traveling to Northern Michigan via the east coast. Julie loved Lake Huron, Oscoda and especially Mackinaw. Julie's overall favorite place to travel was Chicago. Julie was diagnosed with lung cancer and COPD in October of 2018, but that didn't stop her. She was a strong woman and she fought with everything she had. Julie loved her family and would do anything for her two children, no matter the time of day. She was her children's #1 fan at sporting events, between the baseball and football games. She was the loudest person in the crowd every time. She would always drop what she was doing to help anyone in need, she would give you the coat off her back. She loved everyone and was adorned by many.
