Kolewski, Judith Mary
Of Munith passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 71. Judi was born on September 13, 1953 to Ralph and Marjorie (Niederer) Caviness. She spent her whole life living in the home her father built in Munith, MI. She attended Northwest High School and graduated in 1971. One of her greatest joys from high school was being a cheerleader and that cheer spirit continued with her throughout her life. After high school she became a travel agent for Bisbee Travel Agency until she began her career at Consumers Power where she worked for 27 years until her early retirement due to her Parkinson's diagnosis.
Judi enjoyed all of her girls weekends especially to Dale Hollow Lake, her couples date nights and adventures with friends. She was the best "mom taxi" driver for her kids and she loved supporting her many grandchildren in all they did; school and theater events, sporting competitions and world travels. Even though she couldn't attend them all she always remained their biggest cheerleader.
Judi is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Kolewski; son R.J (Betsy) Howell and their children Max, Joclyn, Harper, Coby and Kendall; daughter Megan (Nick) Green and their children Wyatt, Greyson and Caleb; step children Terri (Brian) Aldrich and their children Kayla and Spencer; Jacqui (Lyman) Robertson and their children Haylee, Ian and Evan; Jeremy Kolewski; Amanda Kolewski and her children Michael and Gabriel, Nick Kolewski; three bonus great granddaughters; and her brother John (Debbie) Caviness.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 30 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4250 Page Avenue in Michigan Center. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM with Pastor Rob Martin officiating. A private interment will be held at Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
