Kestner, Joyce Ann

Went to be with the Lord peacefully at home with her loving husband and kids by her side on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Joyce is survived by her husband, Paul of 65 years; children, Paula Kestner-Blair, Mike (Mechas) Kestner, Tom (Diane) Kestner, Kathy (Mark) Meyer, Mary (Tim) Kemler, Steve (Pam) Kestner, John (Denise) Kestner, Joan (Todd) Girkins, Joe (Kathryn) Kestner, Liz (Larry deceased) Cvitkovic, Jim Kestner, Maria (Scott) Johnson, Jerry (Claudina) Kestner; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; very special friend (family) Monica Mercado.

Joyce belonged to Queen's Church and many groups, Bible Study, Arise, and Alanon Treasures of the Heart. Her favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for her love of children. Joyce was always there to lend a shoulder to lean on. She loved and adored her husband and children. They were her world. Joyce loved anything that brought her family together. Joyce and Paul had a love story that was like no other. Her faith was strong and together she and Paul always tried living by example. Joyce left us all with many wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime and she will be greatly missed by all as she is now peacefully home in Heaven.

Joyce is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a short prayer service at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral mass.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
