We are sad to announce the passing of Joyce Goudie at age 95 on October 12, 2023.  Born in Quincy, Michigan, she moved to Jackson after high school.

Joyce passed away with her husband Bill of 75 years, and daughter, Joette, by her side after a brief illness.  She is survived by her husband, Bill, her daughters, Linda Adkins (Bob), of Flagler Beach, Joette Goudie of Ann Arbor, and Pam Joyce (David) of Cincinnati, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In her early years, Joyce  enjoyed many social activities such as the Turf Diggers golf league, the 20/30 dance club, as well as pot luck and bridge groups with close friends.  Joyce was a mother and homemaker and worked in medical offices until her retirement.  She was a longtime member of The First United Methodist Church.

Joyce's family would like the thank the caring staff of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice, where in lieu of flowers donations may be made.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
