Josephine B. Tarnowski (Koziol)

Of Jackson passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Thursday, December 10, 2015. She is survived by three children; daughter Debbie (Joe) Grajewski, sons Robert (Kathy) Tarnowski and Larry Tarnowski. Five grandchildren; Jeff, Scott, Jessica, Stacey and Carrie. Eleven great-grandchildren; Ashley, Annie, Josh, Nathaniel, Katelyn, Aidan, Emersyn, Cullen, Brexon, Abbott and Karcen. Josephine retired from Sparton Electronics after 43 years of service. She was a gifted seamstress and a devoted MSU fan, especially basketball. She took care of everyone and had a very close bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren sharing her proud polish heritage.

Mrs. Tarnowski is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM followed by interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

The family would like to thank family and friends for all of their love and support and a special thank you to the staff at Legacy Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for the loving care that they provided.
