Wheeler, Joseph K.

Of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his wife Teri; children, LaDena Wheeler, Joan Wheeler, Jamie (Arnie) Wheeler-Nunnery, Angela (Brian) Parshall; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Ken (Pat) Wheeler, Dennis (Phyllis) Wheeler, Phil (Bridgett) Wheeler, Ruthann Wheeler; brother-in-law, Jim Henley and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Kendall and Joan Wheeler; and sister Janene Henley.

Joseph owned his own painting company for 30 years. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to the casino, lottery tickets, bingo, horse races, spending quiet evenings at home, sitting outside on the porch and enjoyed watching sports especially his Detroit Lions and Tigers.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:45 PM.

A funeral service will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery on Friday, October 30 at 1:00 PM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
