Loving Husband, Father, and Papa Joe, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Jackson, Michigan at age 69. Joe was born on December 15, 1951 in Jackson to Charles and Virginia (Reilly) Shean. Joe proudly served in the United States Army. On August 25, 1980, he married Martha Wyman. Joe had a passion for NASCAR and loved attending races where he cheered for his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr. He graduated from Lansing Community College in 1984.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother, Virginia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Annette Wyman. He is survived by his wife, Marty; children, Scott (Karyn), Joseph, Caitlin, and Kevin (Jenna); his brother, Chuck; sister, Mary; grandchildren, Corey (Jan), Casey (Karla), Poppy, and Connor; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Ryleigh; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family, especially his best buds, George Allen and Kelly McIntyre.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM.
