Of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 of respiratory failure due to end-stage COPD at the age of 81.

Joe is survived by his three children: Daniel, Amy (Anthony) Randazzo and Joseph P.; his brother John (Valerie) Rauschenberger; and his three beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Louis and Joey Randazzo. He is also survived by several cousins, his Dwyer in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, and long-time family friend Dr. Michael Burgess.

Joe is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary; his father, Richard Rauschenberger; and mother, Anastasia (Lapinski) Rauschenberger.
Joe loved sports, especially his Spartans, and watching his grandkids' sporting events. He also enjoyed watching old movies, the Hallmark Channel, and playing Jeopardy Trivia with his kids and grandkids. When his beloved wife Mary passed away in 2013, he inherited her iPad and embraced modern technology and social media. He loved keeping up with family and friends online. Joe also enjoyed playing Wordle, and even learned to speak French with the Duolingo app and was proud of his 1,799 day streak.

Joe had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to make people laugh, and will be missed dearly.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, June 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Desnoyer Funeral Home.
