Joseph R. "Randy" Mehelich

MEHELICH, JOSEPH R. "RANDY"

Age 61, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved.  Randy was born on December 12, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan.  He is predeceased by his Father, Joseph Mehelich and Mother, Elise Mehelich.  Randy is survived by his loving wife, Luanne, his beautiful children, Erin (Jason) Hepner, Joey Mehelich, Zach Mehelich, and adored grandchildren, Claire and William Hepner.  Also survived by his Brothers, John Adams and James Adams, Sister, Lysa Romain Endyk; as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  Randy served in the Fifth United States Army which he completed Drill Sgt School.  He was a retired Construction Manager.

We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the times we spent with him.  Randy was fun- loving and lived life to its fullest.  He was such a proud Father of his children, Papa to his grandchildren, and Godfather to his nephew, Alex Joseph (AJ) Romain.

A Memorial Service honoring Randy will he held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the Memorial Service.  Friends and Relatives may visit online the Desnoyer Funeral Home to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
