Satterelli, John B.

Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the age of 95 years. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Filomena (Teriaco) and brothers, Patrick, Nick, Mike, Frank, and Joe; nephew, Paul Satterelli; and niece, Teresa Mains.

John was a WWII Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne Division and also served in the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion Post 29 for 64 years. He retired from Kelsey Hayes after 30 years of service. John was a member of St. Mary's Parish and enjoyed umpiring softball games, bowling, and enjoyed a good cigar.

Mr. Satterelli is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, November 23 at 1:00 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
