Palmer, John E.
Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Arbor Manor Care Center surrounded by his loving family age 81 years. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara. John was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah and his father, Harold, brother H. Lee and his nephew Robert Palmer. John served in the U. S. Army from 1951 to 1957. He graduated from Jackson high school, retired from Die-cast Corp, was a life member of the Grotto Club and a member of the American Legion post 29. John loved life, playing cards, hunting and golf.
Memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in the Chapel on Thursday, at 11:00 AM
The family would especially like to thank Arbor Manor Care Center for the care and compassion shown to John.
