Orlosky, John R.

Of Jackson, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Georgia Orlosky; son, Zachary Orlosky; daughter, Sarah Orlosky; four granddaughters, Chloe, Madelyn, Payton, and Makenna; three sisters, Dorothy (Sam) Lanham, Linda Schisler, and Karen Mericle; one brother, James (Kim) Orlosky; sisters and brothers in law, Peggy (Dan) Decker, Betsey (Ron) Puhr, and Cathy (Gary) Tucker; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends Jay (Ruth) Pozner. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jude; parents, Joseph and Elizabeth; and brother, Joel.

John enjoyed health and fitness, coaching swimming, and spending time with his family. He taught Psychology at Jackson College for 13 years and then transitioned to a Business Consultant.

According to his wishes, John has been cremated and a Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date.

In John's memory, contributions may be made to Faith Haven Care Centre or Heart to Heart Hospice in Lansing.
