Okoniewski, John J.
Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois; six children, Mary (John) DuMont, John (Jerilynn) Okoniewski, Dave (Karla) Okoniewski, Tom (Cindy) Okoniewski, Stephen (Laura) Okoniewski, Dianne (David) VanTassel; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Isabel Ciszewski; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday from 10–10:30 AM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. John Catholic Church on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Reverend Robert Pienta will be the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church.
