NOWINSKI, JOHN J.

Of Jackson passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 age 90 years. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris. Two sons; Thomas S. (Micki) Nowinski and Jon (Melissa) Nowinski. Three grandchildren; Matthew (Sheila), Emma and Daniel. Sister in law Charlotte Nowinski. Preceded in death by his brother Steve and sister Mary Narkiewicz. John was a US Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, retired from Kelsey-Hayes after 40 years of service and was the Travel Director for Rose City A.A.R.P. Mr. Nowinski is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Countryside Care Center for the wonderful care that they provided.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Lumen Christi High School would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Wednesday 6:00 PM.
