of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Survived by three daughters, Shantel, Michelle, and Kristie Gallegos; one son, Joe Miller-White; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Arlene (Lalo) Sauceda, Ronald (Ellen) Gallegos, Robert (Susan) Gallegos, and Misty Glover; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Debi Ripley. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Gallegos.
Kookie was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned the Purple Heart. He was employed by Henry Ford Allegiance Health. He was a wonderful musician and singer and was a friend to all who met him.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 3 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Lenz officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the needs and wishes of the family would be appreciated.
