Carroll, John Paul

Of Parma, passed away at home under the loving care of his wife and Great Lakes Hospice on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Survived by his wife, Dee; children, Sean P. Carroll and Kelly A. Carroll, both of Maryland; granddaughters, Madison Ruelet and Theresa Devine; three great-grandsons; brother, Peter Carroll; sister, Sheila McGinley; sister in law, Barbara Carroll; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Marion (McCarthy) Carroll and his brother, James Carroll.
John worked at the Radio City Music Hall and retired from Camp International in Jackson. He served in the National Guard in New York. He was a longtime member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was also a very accomplished pianist.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Private interment at Chapel Cemetery in Parma.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. Mary's Church would be appreciated.
