Kennedy, Jo Ann
Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family on November 5, 2025 at the age of 73 years. Jo Ann married her one-and-only, Ford Kennedy on December 21, 1968. Her legacy of timeless grace, her infectious laughter, and her deep devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, and all those who knew JoAnn, will live on eternally. "Love you dearly!" She was preceded in death by her parents, Hattie (Borkowski) and James McCluskey, and her sister Rosemary Bussell (Jim) and brother Ron McCluskey (Phyliss). She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 57 years, Ford Kennedy. Her five beloved children: Ford Kennedy (Molly), Chad Kennedy (Mandy), Coley Kennedy (Jennifer), Tara Brady (Dan), and Erin Nugent (Toby). Grandchildren: Keelie, Raegan, Ford Patrick, Brynn; Haley, Barry, Aaron, Kavin; Hattie, Jude; Rylan, Daniel, Maden; Jack, Felix; Great-grandchildren: Brooks, Lincoln, Cooper; Elowen, Emma. Siblings: James (Teddy) McCluskey, and Patrick (Joanie) McCluskey.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, November 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at Queen's Church on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. John School or Queen's School would be appreciated.
