Huff (Martin) Jessie Elizabeth
Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family, Sondra and the staff at Pleasant Manor Adult Foster Care Home and Great Lakes Caring Hospice on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 age 94 years. She is survived by three children; Jane E. Hopkins, Rupert Huff Jr. And Roberta A. (Keith) Bisel, son-in-law Stephen D. Riede. Seven grandchildren; Elizabeth A. (Alan) Michaels, Stephen C. (Michelle) Riede, Amy K. Brafford, Shelle R. (Michael) Huizenga, Wilfred J. Hopkins, Trent A. Huff and Alison M. Huff, eleven great grandsons, sister-in-law Elaine J. Smith, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rupert Huff Sr., her daughter Jean E. Riede and daughter-in-law Linda M. Huff.
Jessie was a proud mother of two sets of twins, lived at the Reflection Senior Citizens Apartments for 18 years. She enjoyed her many friends, bingo and Wii Bowling but most importantly spending time with her family.
According to her wishes Mrs. Huff has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dave Cornwell from Great Lakes Caring Hospice officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Jessie's name may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
