SMITH, JEROME L. "JERRY"

Of Jackson passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, January 13, 2012 age 66 years. Survived by his children; Michael (Lynn) Smith of New Boston, Michigan, Shelie (John) Ross of Perry, Michigan, Mary (Mathew) Lefurgey of Waterford, Michigan and Christine Smith of Golden Colorado. Grandchildren; Erika Ross, Rebecca Ross, Allison Lefurgey, Jonathan Ross, Kayla Smith, Samuel Lefurgey, Marissa Smith and Rachel Ross. Brothers and sisters; Richard (Maria) Smith, Roy Smith, Phillip (MaryBeth) Smith, Joyce (Scott) Davis, Donna Blais, Mona Worsham and Judy (Jeff) Griffiths. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Rose (Koenigsknect) Smith, his wife Joyce (Iverson) Smith and his brother David. Jerry retired from Guardian Industries in Albion. Jerry is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Father Robert Pienta will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
