Horgan, Jerome Esley
Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the age of 85. He is survived by his son, Charles J. Horgan. Preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Horgan (Christian) and his sisters, Patricia M. Birney and Rosemary C. Trier.
He was born on September 14, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan to Alice M. (Forster) Horgan and Esley D. Horgan. Jerome attended school at St. Andrew Grade School and High School and graduated there in 1948. He worked as a laborer for Pere Marquette/C&O Railroad from 1946-1947 and served in the Naval Reserves from 1947 to 1948 and the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952. He served in occupied Germany from 1949 to 1952. Jerome joined Consumers Power Company in 1952 to 1986, where he retired as System Power Controller.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services will be held.
