Jennie Masters

Jennie Masters
of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 98 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joseph, in June of 1980. Jennie is survived by her daughter, Rosalie Blinn; three sons, Louis Masters, Thomas (Lori) Masters and Gary Masters; seven grandchildren, Mary Jo, Phyllis and Stephen (Marie) Blinn, Christopher (Jen) Masters, Sarah (John) Horohoe, Rachel and Hannah Masters; five great grandchildren, Morgan, Conner, Sydney and Brianna Blinn and Giovanna Masters; one brother, Sam (Mel) Genix. Jennie was preceded in death by son-in-law, Gary Blinn; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Masters; brother, Charles Przano; sisters, Martha Schlenker and Katie Scouten.

Jennie retired from ITT Hancock after 20 years of service and was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society, Queenship of Mary Circle and assisted with the funeral dinners.

Mrs. Masters is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, August 18 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM with Father James Shaver as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, August 17 from 4–7 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.
