McCluskey (Thomas), Jean Marie
81, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family at Summit Park Assisted Living Center in Jackson, MI. Born to Frank and Agnes Thomas on October 12, 1934 in Jackson, Michigan, she is survived by John, her devoted husband of 58 years, and their four children Tom, Karen, and Betsy of Fairfax County, Virginia and Maggie Machain of Wyndam, NH, along with granddaughters Meg and Allison McCluskey also of Virginia; siblings, Delano Thomas; and Anne Ford; and many loving friends and family. Jean was preceded in death by parents Frank and Agnes Thomas.
According to her wishes, Jean has been cremated. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 711 N. Francis St. Jackson MI, on Wednesday, December 23 at 10:00 AM with Father John Whitlock as the celebrant.
The family is welcoming friends and family to join them for visitation at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 N. Blackstone Street, on Tuesday, December 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Jackson, MI, for family only, at a future date.
The family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to the loving staff at Summit Park Assisted Living Center, Allegiance Hospice, and Dr. Aaron VanWagnen and his practice.
