Decker, Janis L.
Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Survived by her mother, Helen Decker Hart and step-father, Goodwin Hart; brothers and sisters, Carole Decker Hoyt, David Decker, Paul (Amy) Decker, and JoEllen Decker Perry; several nephews and her friends at the Fowler House. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph and her brother, James.
Janis was a very special person who loved people and getting out in the community.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at the Desnoyer Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Fr. Robert Pienta officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Fowler House, 400 Van Buren St., Jackson, MI 49201 would be appreciated.
