BABCOCK, JANICE MARIE

Of Parma passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 age 73 years. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Burr. Two daughters, Susan (Leonard) Deprez and Carol (Jeff) McEldowney. Son, Thomas (Kay) Babcock. Five grandchildren; Betsy, Alex, Jill, Jarret and Jensen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Papiersky and her brother David Nall.

Janice was a regular Red Cross blood donor and was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, sewing, Michigan football games but, most importantly Janice loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Babcock is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Private interment St. John's Cemetery. Father Rick Eberle, O.S.F.S. will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Mary's Church would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM.
