Clevenger (Trombley), Janet K.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Janet. She passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 75. She Born on January 31, 1945 at Mercy Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Barbara (Gauss); her husband, Morris Monroe "Bud" Clevenger; son, Mark Clevenger; mother-in-law, Addie Mae Clevenger; brother, Tom Trombley; and beloved dog, Maggie. She is survived by her sisters, Terry (Leonard) Klausing; Gail (Al) Smith; brothers, Tim Trombley and David (Laura) Trombley; daughter-in-law, Teriko Clevenger; two grandchildren, Baileigh and Cooper Clevenger; sister-in-law, Charlene Trombley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friend and shopping partner, Carol Moore.
Janet worked 35 years at City Bank, starting in the mailroom and retiring as Vice President of the Trust Department and then she worked several years for Dillon & Associates. She was a longtime member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Janet enjoyed traveling the country with her longtime companion, Garth and loved spending time with her family, especially with her two grandchildren. She was a generous and loving person who made friends easily. Janet enjoyed Jeopardy and the Wheel of Fortune.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility and the doctors and staff at Fresenius Medical Care of Jackson.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, March 9 from 3:00 to 7:30 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to her grandchildren's Education Fund would be appreciated.
