Marriott, Jane M (Steffey)
age 93, died on Friday, August 23, 2019. Jane was born on October 23, 1925. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Marriott Jr.; parents, Milton and Irene (Riley) Steffey; brother, Father John Steffey; daughter Kathy Sylvester ; son Tom Marriott and three great grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Anne (James) Greiner of Hanover, MI and Joan (Rob) Davis of Traverse City, MI. She also has 10 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.
Jane was a graduate of St Mary's High School in Jackson, Michigan. Jane's hobbies were golfing, bowling and painting beautiful pictures. She had an eye for decorating and was an avid reader. She was a long time, active member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Her family were her life and she loved us all dearly and she will be deeply missed.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald as the Celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at Queens Church on Thursday, before the Mass, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.
Instead of sending flowers the family suggests that you please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
