Vander Weide, James R.
passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the age of 23 years. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Anna; one brother, Jake; paternal grandfather, Roger Vander Weide; maternal grandparents, George and Mary Talton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marie Vander Weide. James graduated from Western High School in 2007 and enjoyed golf, hockey and snowmobiling.
The family will receive friends at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:00 Noon to 12:30 PM with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:30 PM. Reverend Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant at the funeral Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
